AFFORDABLE CARE ACT, HEALTH REFORM

A small business reference page for the Affordable Care Act, Healthcare Reform, is: www.irs.gov/uac/Small-Business-Health-Care-Tax-Credit:-Questions-and-Answers

To help provide an estimate of what your individual/family health insurance premiums may cost, the Exchange has provided a cost-estimate calculator at www.wahealthplanfinder.org that will help individuals find out if they will be eligible for tax credits to help lower the monthly cost of their insurance premiums, and or qualify for a tax credit or subsidy, or more coverage.

Question: Will I still be able to use my agent or broker to get health insurance?
Yes, you will be able to continue using your agent and broker as long as they have been certified by the Washington Health Benefit Exchange to sell health plans through Washington Healthplanfinder. Agents and brokers must also be certified by respective health insurance carriers to sell specific health plans, just as they do today. You can continue to use their agent or broker, or contact me for a quote.
